Mondo digipädevuste õppeprogramm pakub pagulasnoortele, vaesemate riikide õpetajatele ja teistele haavatavas olukorras kogukondadele oskuseid ja vahendeid tänapäevases ühiskonnas aktiivseks osalemiseks. Mondo digipädevuste õppeprogramm katab endas nii põhilisi arvutioskusi kui ka seda, kuidas digivahendeid ja internetti kasutada proaktiivselt ühiskonnaelus osalemiseks – nii isiklikus elus, tööalaselt, kui ka oma haridustee jätkamiseks. Lisaks baasoskustele rõhutab õppeprogramm ka turvalist veebikasutust ja probleemilahendusoskuseid. NGO Mondo’s Digital Competencies Progam gives refugee youth, teachers and vulnerable communities the skills and tools needed to actively participate in society. Mondo’s Digital Competencies Program (DCP) is about digital literacy and computer skills, but it’s also about using digital devices and the Internet proactively as a tool to engage with society on a professional, educational and personal level. When the Nama community needed us most, we stepped up and expanded our services. During 2020 we dedicated ourselves to training community health workers, conducting community outreaches, supporting government health centres, and expanding services at our own health centre III. Through this video, Nama community members and health workers share their experiences.

We’re so pleased to announce the successful completion and opening of the girls' boarding school which will be home to 300 girls. This is a huge milestone and a new chapter in our history.  Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters who supported our Buy a Brick campaign, which enabled us to build the boarding school during COVID. COVID was devastating to the Ugandan school system and many students were left completely on their own. So, the Komo Learning Centre Do It Yourself (DIY) Clubs switched gears and went to meet students in their own communities.
